Wet n Wild Fall 2014 Limited Edition Mattes | Lipsticks

As we get ready to transition into the fall months makeup brands are coming out with their ever so anticipated fall collections full of fun new colors that can reinvent our looks in the upcoming cooler months. While making my usual late night round at Wegman's I found myself, as I usually do, strolling down the cosmetics aisle looking for little treats to buy myself when I came across Wet n Wild's limited edition fall collection of lipsticks and nail polishes. The collection is comprised of six nail polishes and four lipsticks all of which were in perfect fashion and trend.  I didn't pick up any of the polishes because I am far too lazy to paint my nails very often and I have been solidarity obsessed with OPI's Dulce De Leche that I never want another color to touch my nails. I did however pick up all four of the lipsticks because God knows that lipstick is one of my true weaknesses.

These lipsticks are in the standard Wet n Wild Megalast formula but with the exception of Sweet Cream seem to have a bit more of a creme finish than a matte one. Yet, none the less these are some amazing lipsticks right on par with the core megalast collection. They are so pigmented that even on the first swipe they are gorgeous and opaque. Also, on top of that color lasts for hours (5-6 hrs.) without being too dry or chalky on the lips. What really sets them apart, besides their limited edition colors, is their rubberized packaging. I wish all of the Megalast lipsticks came in the matte packaging because there is something about it that really just draws me in.

Bordeaux Boulevard is a stunning plum wine color that gives off true a sultry vibe that can really bring out your dark and mysterious side. I think that this lip would look great paired with a classic winged liner look because it would give the perfect mix of bold and class.

Urban Night is a classic deep red wine color that makes a statement without being too loud or drawing any attention away from any other part of your look. This would be a great color to be paired with gold and bronze shadows for a holiday party look that no one would be sure to forget.

Sunset Siren is a vibrant orange red color that is very similar to MAC Lady Danger and Nars Red Square. Its so fun, fiery, and intense that the color is perfect for giving the fall some much needed flare. Yet, still the color is bright and warm enough to also be an amazing color for the hot summer months.

Sweet Cream is a timeless pinky nude color that in some ways reminds me of a warmer and slightly lighter toned MAC Kinda Sexy. This is my favorite lipstick from the collection because as a nude it is very versatile and can be worn everyday no matter the season or occasion.
