DIY Coffee Scrub

Spring always gets me in the mood to try new DIY projects. It's always a super inspiring time and all I ever want to do is sit around and make pretty crafts and other little at home beauty concoctions. When I stumbled across some recipes for coffee scrubs I knew I had to try one out. Coffee Scrubs are super beneficial because they are amazing for exfoliating, toning, and tightening the skin. Coffee has tons of antioxidants and caffeine which, reduces inflammation and draws excess moisture from the skin leaving it looking and feeling tighter and smoother. The coarse texture of the coffee works as a mild exfoliant while the palm sugar is a second more deep down exfoliant which, removes dead skin cells leaving the skin soft. The coconut oil moisturizes the skin and combats dry patches. The cinnamon stimulates blood flow bringing blood to the surface of your skin reducing the look of fine lines. It also contains anti-bacterial properties that help control acne. Overall it also doesn't hurt that it smells amazing! When I use it in the shower the aroma of the coffee and cinnamon mix together for a very energizing scent. Also... I may or may not have kind of gave it a little taste test and it may or may not have tasted pretty good.
