I've never been a huge fake lashes kinda girl. Don't get me wrong I think they are amazing but, I have never been one to feel the need to pop them on everyday or anything like that. I own quite a few pairs but, it's rare that they get much love from me. Lately though I have been overcome with the desire to buy and wear fake lashes more often. I've been trying to compose myself but, I often find myself surfing random makeup sites looking at their lashes.
I don't know what it is about lashes that has really been captivating me lately but, I'm really getting sucked in to it. Usually I wouldn't be bothered with them because it is just one more step in the morning that I could really live without. Yet, my mind is slowly starting to change, making me feel like they would be a simple way to pull together a look or an easy way to add some extra flair to a basic eye look.
For whatever reason the whole light contoured eye with no liner and some lashes look is really sounding good in my head. It just seems so clean and with a light dewy complexion things would be breath taking. I already sense it being a thing for me at least a few times this week but, hopefully I don't go overboard and end up becoming a lash addict. Since I have zero self control going overboard is always a real danger for me.
Someone please wish me luck because I'm a little too excited to be trying to incorporate lashes into my routine. They are just lashes for God's sake but, here I am more giddy than a school girl.
