Tea Talk Tuesday | Post #44

I feel like at the very least my life has been pretty productive lately. I've been working a ton and getting a lot of out of work projects done. It's all been pretty smooth sailing as well so I'm pretty thankful for that. In that being said I just wanted to share a little bit of what's been going on with all of you.

Tea Talk Tuesday | Post #32

So after a few days delay (again) I finally got my unofficial makeup portfolio page up and running. I've been super busy lately with work projects and I didn't really get a chance to launch it live as soon as I wanted but, it's finally here. The page isn't anything super special or glam but, I'm really happy to have it up regardless. Like I've said before, hopefully it will be a motivator to remind me to take more pictures of my work. I'm excited to be able to go through it later as well and see my work progress.

Tea Talk Tuesday | Post #31

I know that I've mentioned in a previous post that I would be posting some unofficial makeup portfolio pictures on the blog. I've been putting it off for awhile now because 1) I always forget to take pictures of my work and 2) I take them on the Ipad at work and they aren't always the best pictures. The quality isn't the best after being sent to my computer so I'm worried that they will look a bit shotty. Yet, I have decided that I'm going to post the page to my blog tomorrow anyway.

A Random New Beauty Itch | Fake Lashes

I've never been a huge fake lashes kinda girl. Don't get me wrong I think they are amazing but, I have never been one to feel the need to pop them on everyday or anything like that. I own quite a few pairs but, it's rare that they get much love from me. Lately though I have been overcome with the desire to buy and wear fake lashes more often. I've been trying to compose myself but, I often find myself surfing random makeup sites looking at their lashes.

A BB Cream I Actually Like | Boscia BB Cream

Remember that time not too long ago when I said I wasn't really into light coverage foundations and BB creams well, I've been eating those words. Half because I have had to change my routine a bit for my skin's sake and the other half is because I actually found a BB cream that works well for me. I feel like every time I say I'm not about something I randomly out of nowhere start to actually like it - Weird, right? But, I can't really complain because that just adds one more product to my collection and makeup brain bank.

Tea Talk Tuesday | Post #23

I feel like lately I've been in one of those bummed creative ruts for some reason. It drives me completely crazy because everyday I feel like I want to get creative and get things moving in my life and then every time I go to sit down and get to buisness all I hear is crickets in my head. Then typically I sit there trying to gather inspiration with no avail and then I end up watching Bob's Burgers on Netflix and eating pistachios.

Tea Talk Tuesday| Post #22

So I've decided I have to get a bit more organized and professional in my makeup artist career. I've done a ton of makeup but, for whatever reason I never think to take pictures of it or really get out there freelance wise. I feel those are things I really need to start doing in order to better establish myself. Also it's obviously a great way to gain practice and better hone my skills.

New to the Scene | Fables Cosmetics Q&A

[Click HERE to go visit their facebook]

There are tons of indie cosmetics companies out there these days but, recently I was introduced to an awesome little lady who decided to put her own unique, ethical, and personal stamp on the industry with her own brand of makeup. Stacy Leigh is the creator and mastermind behind, Fables Cosmetics, a cruelty free USA based makeup brand geared towards showing everyone how easy it is to create your own fairy tale through the magic of makeup. We were able to do a little Q and A about her company and I'm really excited to share what we discussed with all of you.
