Jaclyn Hill Favorites - Morphe Brushes Eyeshadow Palette | Review

My lovely Jaclyn Hill Favorites eyeshadow palette finally came in the other day and I was super excited to play with it! As I am sure you most of you know Morphe Brushes collaborated with Jaclyn Hill to put together a palette of all of her favorite Morphe shadows. The palette launched for pre-order on January 1st at 12 am PST/ 3 am EST and before the palette even launched the site crashed making it almost impossible to order the palette or anything else on the site for about an entire day. Personally, it took me about 3 hours to order this thing and I would have given up and abandoned the idea of getting it if I hadn't committed so much time to the matter (apparently there was a hacker issue so I really can't be mad at Morphe for it.) It was frustrating at the time but when something is as hyped the way that this palette was you should expect at least some degree of difficulty getting it. The Jaclyn Hill Favorites palette sold out in two days but, it will be restocked in February.

The palette may have been a bit of a pain to acquire but it was totally worth it because it is absolutely gorgeous. The Jaclyn Hill Favorites palette includes 28 eyeshadows that include warm and cool neutrals ranging from lights to darks, cranberries, purples, pinks, oranges, and a dark green. The shadows come in matte, frost, luster, pearl, and shimmer finishes. All of the shadows are pigmented, soft, and buttery; they glide on smoothly, blend effortlessly and do not really have fallout. If you use the shimmer shades with a damp brush the color becomes even more amazing, giving the shadow a very intense foiled look that would be breath taking for a night out. The color range of this palette allows you to create multiple looks with ease including natural, neutral, smokey, and bold color looks without giving you the desire to dip into other pots or palettes.

The Jaclyn Hill Favorites palette so amazing and its only $28 so I 100% recommend this palette to anyone who has been thinking about getting it when it restocks in February. If for some reason you only like a few of the colors or aren't able to get the palette these shadows are sold individually on the Morphe site. Overall the quality is hands down amazing and the color range is phenomenal. All of these colors can look gorgeous on all skin tones and can be used on an innumerable amount of occasions. It is a great palette for the novice to the pro and anyone in between because it gives you so much versatility and choice without being overwhelming.
