Friday Favorites | Pink Tinted Pouts

If you know me I feel like this new obsession is going to come as a shocking favorite because honestly, this is something I never thought I would enjoy - subtle pinched pink pouts. I have never been much of a glossy type of girl, mattes and opaque colors have always been my neish. Yet, for some reason lately I have been drawn to these very lightly colored natural lips. I just think that they look so simple and clean that it really adds an effortless sophistication to natural makeup looks. It has the ability to add the perfect amount of glow to the complexion.


My favorite products to use for this type of lip look are the Dior Lip and Cheek Glow and the YSL Volupte Tint-In-Oil in Cherry My Cherie. These are also two products I didn't think I was going to enjoy very much... but that's what I get for blowing them off; shameful. The Dior Lip and Cheek Glow has a more matte like quality to it which gives a lovely natural looking pink stain to the lips. While on the other hand the YSL Volupte Tint-In-Oil gives a more pinched pink look with a glossy finish. This lip oil is super hydrating and feels amazingly smooth on the lips. Even after the shine wears off there is a lovely pink stain left behind. I love the YSL Volupte Tint-In-Oil so much that I'm actually considering purchasing the one in Peach Me Love... this makes me wonder who I'm becoming but, whatever I'm just going to embrace it because it's totally fitting for these warm weather vibes.
