Rimmel Lasting Finish Colour Rush Balms | Review

Rimmel recently came out with these new Colour Rush Balms (new to the States anyway.) They came out with fourteen shades but, alas my lowly Target only had four so I picked up three. I'd say they seem to be a little late to the whole jumbo crayon balm game but, whatever, I can't complain because I'm still pretty excited. I love a good crayon shaped lippy. Lately I have been all about those light little washes of color on the lips for spring. Granted this isn't really enough color for me to wear to work, sheer little washes of color have been my favorite things for lazy no makeup days when I just want to look a little less dead to the world.

The Rimmel Colour Rush Balms feel light yet super moisturizing on the lips and have a very comfortable wear. I wouldn't say that these balms are going to rescue chapped lips or anything like that but, they do help a little bit. They glide on smoothly and have a light vanilla scent which is always lovely. These balms are supposed to be long lasting but, lets be honest a balm or any hydrating lip can only last so long. They do hold their own though, I would say that these last four or five hours before you have to reapply so long as you aren't eating. I was shocked by the amount of pigment that these balms had because I wasn't expecting much of anything to be honest. There is a beautiful vibrancy to them that makes them a perfect edition to any fresh clean look. I imagine rocking these beach side while I drink mimosas in a big floppy hat avoiding the sun at all costs.

If I can get my hands on a few more shades of these Rimmel Lasting Finish Colour Rush Balms you know I will be picking them up. Cute, quick, and effortless to put on, these are a perfect edition to anyone's beach bag or spring/summer makeup routine.
