A Make Up For Ever Haul

Over the past two weeks or so I have picked up and been given some new Make Up For Ever Products that I am really excited about. Honestly, my dream makeup kit for myself and for my clients would be purely made up of Make Up For Ever Products aside from my beloved Laura Mercier Loose Powder. It was the first high end brand that I ever really got into and it has had a special place in my heart ever since. I'm still waiting for Dani Sanz to adopt me and I'm pretty sure one day its 10000% going to happen I can feel it. I'll even learn French for her I swear (probably not but, it's the thought that counts.)

Recently when I finished a makeup training I was gifted the mini setting spray, makeup remover, HD setting powder, smoothing primer, and universal lip liner. All the other products I purchased myself for my kit when we had a special Make Up For Ever discount at work (it never happens so I had to take full advantage.) I also got three other little things but, they haven't come in the mail yet so they are going to have to sit this one out. I like products for my kit that take up the least space so that way I can bring more products and options when I want or need to do so. I focused on mostly getting complexion products because that is what I needed the most and I thought that these products would be the best for the job. I really stand behind these products so I'm really excited I'm able to put so many of them in my kit. I wanted the products I purchased to be as dynamic as possible and Make Up For Ever really delivers on that.

I don't want to get into too much product detail because I'll be doing a review on the Ultra HD Foundation Sticks soon but I'll shed a little bit of light onto my picks...

- The Step 1 Primers in Matte, Smoothing, and Hydrating are the three basic primer types I will need when dealing with clients. These in particular are great because I have never had them roll or sit poorly.

- The Ultra HD Foundation Sticks where a foundation pick of choice because they are easy to mix and blend and I can get anywhere from a sheer to full coverage from them.

- I don't like setting with the HD powder all over the face because it gives a flashback and I have personally had it separate on me. The Make Up For Ever Super Matte Powder was a great alternative because it gives no flashback and the small amount of color works well for situations where the foundation is a hair too light or dark.

- I purchased the brown Chromatic Mix because I love using the drops in foundations to create the perfect shade for a client without having to bring 100 foundations with me in my kit. (I also have the yellow and white drops.)

- Lastly, I'm not even going to lie the 5C lip liner is all mine because it's a mid toned brown and well it goes with most if not all of my lipsticks.

I think it's so exciting to watch my makeup kit grow because I work to make sure that I pick the best products for my clients. I can't wait to put them to good use!
