I've been still relentlessly working on and tweaking my haircare routine especially because I know with fall and winter right around the corner my hair and scalp are bound to get a little more dry. With that being said most of my favorites this month are haircare related. It's been a new arena for me this past few months but, I love all the new products I've been finding since it's bringing my pamper life into the 360 (hair, skin, makeup - check.) My hair is something I have seriously neglected and abused in the past so this love is way overdue. Clearly I'm still loving the makeup life but, my hair is what has really been needing the love.
Eufora Nourish Urgent Repair Shampoo - My amazing friend gave this to me about two months back and I've been using it on and off while trying a few others in between. Every time I've tried another shampoo I've always gone back to this one because this is the only one that I feel like not only helps treat my damaged hair but also soothes my scalp. It has a refreshing tingle that leaves my scalp feeling refreshed clean while my hair feels softer and lighter. It doesn't hurt that this shampoo also helps protect my hair from heat and environmental damage.
Eufora Moisture Masque - When I got my hair done a few months back my stylist said that if there was one product I needed to leave with it was this one and she was right. I do a ton of different hair masks in order to keep my hair from looking like straw that's been backed over by a tractor one too many times. Most of the masks I've tried just aren't enough for my hair since my hair sucks up any moisture that it can but, this one is different. I can instantly feel a difference as soon as I put it in and my hair still feels as soft after rinsing and drying. Along with my Living Proof leave in conditioner my hair is
manageable until its next wash.
Bumble and Bumble Invisible Oil Primer - I use this as an added heat protectant a detangler. It's been really helping so that I don't rip out more hair than I need to when I'm trying to brush through my hair (wet or dry.) I lose a lot of hair as it is so anything that will make me shed a little less is great.
Urban Decay Perversion Mascara - If you want those fluttery babydoll lashes look no further than Perversion mascara. I love how it gives the perfect cocktail of length and volume. My lashes never look chunky or spidery with this mascara but they still look dark and defined.
Lancome Definicils Booster XL - I've been really into mascara primers lately for some reason. I've gotten a few different samples but, I decided to start with my Lancome one and I've been loving it. It gives me the perfect conditioning and lengthening base for my Perversion Mascara as well as any other mascara that I've used with it. Even though it's white the color is easy to cover and there isn't any grey cast after the mascara has been placed over top.
Smashbox Primer Water - So I don't use this in the conventional way since I don't use this to prime my face. Instead I use it to spray my beauty blender when it begins to dry out. I like using this instead of regular water because I have found that it lets my makeup sit and blend better. I've also noticed that it helps make my makeup last a bit longer as well, especially around the places I get the most oily.
That's it for this month but no worries, I've got a lot of hopefuls in line for next month's monthly favorites.
