Two of my favorite things are liquid lipsticks and nude/neutral lips. It's an obvious fact about me and it's probably something I never have to state again because by this point I'm sure everyone is more than aware. I've got at least a drawer full of nude lip products but I never seem to have enough.
Recently, Kat Von D launched a sample size of her new lipstick shade Lolita II in a duo pack with Lolita. It's the first look at the new shade before it comes out in its full size form. It's a great way to try out the new shade as well as get your hands on Lolita which can be quite hard to find in stores since it's quite a hot commodity.
[Left to Right: Lolita, Lolita II]
Lolita II is the warmer more toned brighter version of the classic Lolita that has become a cult classic lip color. Lolita is a deep chestnut rose while Lolita II is a terra cotta nude. The formula is exactly the same as the rest of her everlasting liquid lipsticks - light, rich, and creamy. The color payoff is also rich and opaque so one or two swipes across the lips is all you need. Lolita II is advertised as being a gorgeous color for warm skintones (which is totally true) but, I believe that it is just as universally flattering as Lolita.
Personally, I'm still a bit more partial to Lolita because I prefer a more brown undertone. I think I'm still going to get a lot of use out of Lolita II though especially in the warmer months since it is a bit brighter and more vibrant.
