What I Use to Dye My Hair Red | My Most Frequently Asked Question

I've had this post in the works for awhile and I actually had the entire post written and ready to go in my drafts when blogger decided to totally wipe everything I had written from the post. It's a defeating feeling but the show must go on and here we are once again. 'What I use to dye my hair' is my most frequently asked question by far so I figured there would be no better topic for a blog post. This way I can go into a lot more detail other than just what products I use.

The Drugstore Cream Contour

I love a good cream contour. I think that creams blend effortlessly and give you a very natural blended look. Using creams is also ideal for so many different skin types since creams tend to work better on mature skin, makes sure dry skin doesn't look cakey, and sticks better to oily skin. Contour palettes can be a little pricey though and not everyone has the means to add that extra step into their routine. For the babes on a budget who don't want to dish out too much money on high-end cream contour products I have a cheap and easy alternative for you all; cream concealer sticks! It might be pretty obvious but who really knows because sometimes I think this idea can be a little overlooked. Before I had two pennies to rub together (which still is basically the case) and before contouring had become the power play that it is today I was using L'Oreal cream concealer sticks to slim down my chin and give dimension to my face.

Top 5 Ways to Go Nude | Lipsticks

Some of my favorite lipstick shades are nudes because they are so versatile. They can pull together a smokey eye or dress up a simple neutral look. It also doesn't hurt that they are easy to wear and you rarely have to worry about awkward bold color splotches or strange diseased looking fading. A little bit of color goes a long way, nudes show that its not only bolds that can be beautiful and eye catching. There are tons of shades and textures out there and everyone has a few that they are drawn to but, here are a few of my favorites in no seriously particular order that I would rock and repurchase again and again and again.

L'oreal Glossy Balm Review

So the other day while making my weekly stroll through Wegman's I stumbled across these L'oreal Glossy Balms. Normally I'm not one for too many things with the word "gloss" in it but, their cute jumbo crayon shape just sucked me right in. There are eight shades over all but I only picked up two, "Innocent Coral" and "Vintage Rose," to test out first. I was pretty surprised and delighted to find that these lippies are basically just jumbo crayon shaped tinted lip balms without any of the stickiness that usually comes to mind when you think of glossy lips. These L'oreal Glossy Balms are nourishing and feel light on the lips. They are a bit less pigmented than the Revlon Colorburst Matte Balms, Lacquer Balms, or Kissable Balm Stains but, they can be built up slightly in color with a few extra swipes across the lips. These are super easy and low maintenance which makes them great for everyday wear. You can throw them on for a little color pick me up and just rush out the door. Since they are balms they don't have a great lasting wear but fortunately they fade well and come off as naturally and smoothly as they glide on. The L'oreal Glossy Balms have a lovely shine to them without having any glitter making your lips look lush and full which, gives your lips a little added radiance. I'm pretty excited to whip these bad boys out on days where I'm looking for a natural and simple effortless look.
