Lime Crime Velvetine in Wicked

Hello, Loves! Lime Crime came out with their The Clueless Witch velvetine collection on March 19th and I knew I had to pick up at least one of the three shades. The collection is basically the love child of Clueless and American Horror Story's The Coven which, could not have came out any more amazing. Wicked is a matte burgundy-red and it might not be something that anyone would call a spring color but, a season has never stopped me from wearing dark colors all year round so I saw no point in stopping now. 

Wicked, like the other velvetines, has a liquid to dry formula much like OCC's lip tars. Since it is matte I'd have to say it is a bit drying but, because of how light weight it is on the lips it isn't uncomfortable or overly dry. The wear of this product is amazing, it's seriously committed to your mouth, there is no smudging and virtually zero transfer. I've rocked this lip throughout a full day of school and work and it sayed almost completely pristine. I did have to do one or two touch ups after eating because of some slight fading but, even then my lips still looked pretty on point. It is also highly pigmented, only one or two swipes across the lips and you're set with beautiful opaque color. It's basically one and done although you need a bit of precision for around the lip line because otherwise you'll be stuck with a wonky shaped lips all day and no one wants that. 

For some reason I've never purchased a velvetine before so I only purchased Wicked just incase I found the formula to be unenjoyable. I'm definitely going to have to pick up a few more though because I am officially in love. Salem is the chocolate brown from the collection and it's been calling my name so I might just have to make that one mine as well. I definitely recommend checking out the whole range if you're into matte lips.
