Makeup Forever HD Foundation Review

The makeup Forever HD foundation has been one of my high-end Holy Grail foundations ever since high school. Out of all the foundations I have ever tried this is the only one that I have repurchased the world over. If I saved all of the empty foundation bottles I could probably build myself the most beautiful makeup castle the world has ever seen. Unfortunately, I have discarded all of the old bottles so for now I suppose I will remain a commoner.

For an oily skin girl such as myself this makeup is quite a God send. The Makeup Forever HD Foundation is a water and silicon based oil free foundation that has an amazing skin-like satin matte finish. This keeps you matte while giving you medium to full coverage without making you look cakey. I would consider this a great foundation for anyone to normal to oily skin. The texture of the makeup is light and creamy so it doesn't give you the feeling of wearing a mask. There is fragrance in this foundation but, it is virtually undetectable so there shouldn't be too much of a cause for irritation for those with sensitive skin. It is easily blended into the skin to give your face an even soft focus look which is why it's called "HD." The foundation is formulated to be able to handle bright harsh lighting and make it so you don't look like a total flashback-cake face creature in front of the camera or on stage. You can attribute this to the sericite within the product; it enables the light to spread more widely thus intensifying the complexion's radiance... or so I've read. I really wouldn't know the science behind it, I'm not a chemist, but it works and thats what is really important here right!?

There is a wide color range so that everyone from the lightest to the darkest toned skin can find something that works for them. It only takes about 3 pumps of foundation to cover your entire face but, you can always add a little more if you want to build up the coverage. The pump packaging makes it clean and easy to use with any makeup tool you choose. Whether you're going to a shoot or going to the market I would recommend this foundation to anyone with normal to oily skin looking for flawless coverage. This foundation will last the whole day (about 12 hrs) with minimal touch ups.
