Too Faced Born This Way Foundation | Review

I'm not going to lie Too Faced isn't a brand that I have experimented with too much in the past. I obviously own their notorious Chocolate Soleil Bronzer and one of their Melted Lipsticks but, other than that my collection in this department is a little dry. Not to say that I don't like this brand because it's not the case, it just hasn't captured me enough until this point. Then I heard so many amazing things about this foundation and you know me, I'm always up for trying a new foundation especially if it promises to give me weightless medium to full cover.

Too Faced's Born This Way Foundation is the way that I had imagined the Make Up For Ever Ultra HD to be; a medium to full coverage foundation with a light formula and more hydrating feel. It is an oil free foundation but, it isn't dry like many others like it because of the rose and coconut water in it. The foundation has a gorgeous natural radiant finish and blends into the skin effortlessly making it look just like your skin but flawless... hence the name (apparently it isn't a Lady Gaga reference, it's a Bridesmaids reference.)

I really love the look and feel of this foundation. It looks absolutely gorgeous but, I would say that it isn't for those with oilier skin and that it is more geared towards those who have normal to dry skin types. When I wear this foundation I can go most of the day looking smoother than a baby cherub rump but then there comes a point where the foundation will seperate around my mouth and chin if I don't use a seriously good matte primer. If the foundation does separate and I try to blot the area it only removes the makeup so adding a little more setting powder and praying I don't cake up is the only thing I can do about the situation. I wouldn't say that the separation is extremely noticeable but, it is the one qualm I have about the product. This factor takes the Born This Way Foundation down a few marks from great to just good for me.
