Friday Favorites | Fall Makeup Favorites

Fall is my favorite makeup season. I love the Autumnal colors so much; all the rich browns and deep reds are just so lovely. I love deep warm colors and this season is all about that or at least it is until all the leaves fall and turn all brown and gross. I've already kind of started on my Fall makeup journey and you can expect it to keep going strong. For the last month I have been all about getting my makeup fall appropriate with lots of grungy looking smokey eyes.

Seriously I think I have created some rendition of a smokey eye almost every single day this month and my most used colors can be found in this post because clearly I think that they are some of the best fall colors ever. These colors also channel the era of 90's grunge and I've been really in love with that lately as well soooo lucky for me it all goes hand in hand. Since I've been mostly ranting about eyeshadows lately I suppose we should start with discussing my favorite eyeshadows for fall.

ColourPop Super Shock Eyeshadow Desert - A warm saddle brown cream to powder eyeshadow that makes the perfect base crease color for any look. Sometimes I even use it by itself for a lightly defined crease look. It's one of my favorites because it's so easy to blend out and the color is easily built and layered.

ColourPop Super Shock Eyeshadow Drift - Nothing says Fall more than Cranberry. This pearlized cranberry shadow works both as a perfect base for a deep red smokey eye or as a nice pop of shimmer to the center of the lid depending on the dark look you're going for.

Make Up For Ever Eyeshadow M-846 - This dark cherry red shadow is my favorite eyeshadow of all time and it just embodies my makeup style. Lately, it has been my go to shade to pair over drift but, I have been also known to use it in the crease when doing a blackout smokey eye.

Make Up For Ever Eyeshadow M-660 - A warm yellow toned brown that is perfect for being worn on its own or deepening Desert in the crease or on the lid. A warm smokey eye's favorite transition color.

Make Up For Ever Eyeshadow M-660 - A good brown shadow is the cornerstone for most of my makeup looks. I love using this pink toned chocolate brown by itself on the lid for day time smokey eyes and over top of my Anastasia Beverly Hills DipBrow in dark brown for more sultry looks.

Jeffree Star Velour Liquid Lipstick Posh Spice - You need a good nude and a good dark color for Fall. For the nudes department I picked my new greige baby Posh Spice because it has a little bit of a darker feel than some of my other nude lippies and I think that it's cooler tone balances out all of the other warm colors I'm putting into my Fall looks.

ColourPop Ultra Matte Lip Limbo - The chocolate brown lippie from my favorite Fall lipsticks reigns as number one for the season because well, I'm just really into browns right now. I like to think that's a good enough reason, right!? Right.

Becca Pressed Shimmering Skin Perfector Champagne Pop - Glowing skin is still a fall trend and I love it. It allows you to keep that warm lit from within glow even when there is less than ideal weather outside. Champagne Pop has been one of my favorite highlighters since it launched. It's a soft white gold with pinky peach shimmer that instantly brightens warms up the complexion for an intense but still non-overwhelming glow.

Essie Nail Polish Devil's Advocate - A good nail polish is the only thing between me and me biting my nails into nubs. I'm sorry if that's disturbing but, it is what it is. I love dark nails for Fall and this one is really taking the cake. This blackened plum is that ideal shade of almost black. I love shades like this because I find them a bit more interesting than the standard black polish of the season... despite the fact that that's what I'm wearing on my toes right now.

I'm already envisioning what my whole Fall makeup routine is going to entail and I'm pretty damn excited!!
