Friday Favorites | Fall Makeup Favorites

Fall is my favorite makeup season. I love the Autumnal colors so much; all the rich browns and deep reds are just so lovely. I love deep warm colors and this season is all about that or at least it is until all the leaves fall and turn all brown and gross. I've already kind of started on my Fall makeup journey and you can expect it to keep going strong. For the last month I have been all about getting my makeup fall appropriate with lots of grungy looking smokey eyes.

Searching for the Perfect Grey

So for whatever reason I have been on a quest for the perfect grey nail polish for the past few months. I've literally been obsessed - it's the only color I've been putting on my nails besides Essie Sand Tropez. I feel like I'm getting to the point where I may end up with every gradation of grey polish in existence. Every time I go to the store I feel like I have to at least skim their nail polish selection just incase I find my grey diamond in the rough.

Revlon Parfumerie Scented Nail Enamel Review

Hello, Loves! So recently Revlon came out with a scented nail polish collection. I don't really know why someone would want scented nails unless they were trying to trick people into thinking that they regularly wash their hands. Nonetheless, I figured it could be an interesting venture so I picked up a few to try out and share with all of you. The line has three different lines, Freshes, Fruits & Florals, and Sweets & Spices. There are 16 polishes and each bottle is shaped like a cute little perfume and labeled with it's scent right on the front. The scent isn't detectable until the nail polish dries so don't bother opening the bottles to sniff them. Each of the polishes has a very unique scent but all of them have a decently long lasting wear. Despite the ball shaped topper it is actually quite easy to grip and the shorter brush design gives you a lot of control.

DIY Manicure Gift Set

Hello, Loves! This is going to be the first installment of my girly gift idea guide. Each of the gift ideas I will be talking about in my next few posts are going to be little gift sets that you can customize for your special someone in order to make a fun and unique gift. What is also great about these is that you can tailor them to fit within your price range.

Filing Down My Nail Expectations

Image
Like most women (& some men) I enjoy getting my nails done at the salon. Over the past couple of months I've been trying to step up my nail game by actually keeping up with my acrylics...Yet it seems to be becoming almost a bit more trouble than its worth. Since I've been getting my nails done I've gone to 4 separate salons all of which have striked out in their own special and flavorfully ignorant way. I'm actually starting to think that I've pissed off some nail deity and that I will be ever be cursed with bad nail juju. Either way though this salon shenanigans is really getting out of hand. Are my nail expectations too jaded from all of the beautiful nails I see online or are these salons just shitty? I mean I would understand bad service if  I was a shitty tipper or if i was the Hitler of nail salon patrons but, I'm not sooo I don't really get the deal. I'm a little mind blown still so you be the judge- have I hit a string of bad nail luck or what!?
