I love a nice liquid highlight, they blend in so naturally and are amazing for achieving a beautiful natural glow. The Smashbox Artificial Light Luminizing Lotion is perfect for blending into primer, foundation, or moisturizer for an all over radiant glow or by itself as a highlight for brows or cheeks. I can't say that I ever use it for mixing into any of my bases because I have a horrible fear of looking like a disco ball but, this is by far one of my favorite cheekbone highlights. It softly reflects light and gives a nice light dewy glow to the skin. The color I have is Flash. The color is a beautiful iridescent champagne; the pinks and golds within it really pop in the light and change with way the light is angled, giving the face a lot of dimension.

The consistency is a bit runny which isn't ideal when it comes to pumping out the product but, it makes it amazingly easy to blend. A little goes a long way so as tricky as it may be attempt not to pump out too much. When using this product you never have to worry about it looking too shimmery or too intense because it really just melts into the other products without disrupting them. It feels super light weight and doesn't sit heavily or greasy on the face making its long-lasting wear very comfortable. Unlike some highlights I haven't had any problems with flash photography or white casting so have no selfie fears with this this one. Overall it is an amazing natural looking highlight that will give your skin the perfect amount of radiance. If you don't believe that Flash would suit your skin tone Smashbox also has two other shades that may work better for you. There is Defused which is a pearlescent white and Glow wish is a shimmering bronze. There is something out there for everyone with this product and I recommend that anyone looking for a little healthy glow should give one a try.
This is awesome! I used to use a Korean shimmer base, or rather, a liquid highlighter similar to Benefit's Sunbeam, Moonbeam products as an all over face base or on its own or mixed with my foundation or moisturizer to achieve a radiant, dewy look. I don't know about looking like a disco ball, but it made me look flawless although coverage is sheer and I came out better in pictures, and I absolutely loved it! Unfortunately, it's difficult to get my hands on now that I live in Germany again. Also, I think they stopped selling that particular nuance I used. But this Luminizing Lotion looks exactly like it!! At least from the pictures. I will definitely take a closer look!
