Paula's Choice Skincare | RESIST Omega+ Complex Serum

The deeper I get into my mid-twenties the more OBSESSED I get with skincare and as far as obsessions go I feel like this is a pretty good one since it's pretty important if I do say so myself. Good skincare leads to good skin which leads to flawless makeup application (it always comes full circle.)

Neocell Hydra+ H.A. Serum | Review

Recently since there has been an influx of super cold weather here in Maryland my skin has been super dehydrated and dry. This isn't something I typically have to deal with but lately it has been a total nightmare especially since I've been sick for almost a week now. My t-zone has been oily but, my skin still has felt tight and chapped to the point that my chin actually hurts to the touch. This means I've had to change up my skincare routine a bit just to get comfortable in my own skin again.

Friday Favorites | A New Way to Use My Fereo

For those of you who may or may not know, I used to use my Foreo to wash my face everyday. It worked decently well for me; my skin looked much brighter from the vibrations of the device helping to circulate blood flow in my face. I was pretty happy with it but, I was recently gifted a Clarisonic so I switched over for a deeper clean. I still kind of wanted a use for my Fereo and one of my brand reps at work turned me onto a fabulous idea.

BareMinerals BareSkin Foundation | Review

I recently aquired the fairly new BareMinerals BareSkin Pure Brightening Serum Foundation and I really wanted to try it. This foundation is (as the name would suggest) a fluid serum like mineral foundation made to correct skin tone and brighten your complexion. It is made without oils, parabens fragrance, and silicone. The foundation is intended to work for all skin types and tones. It is also dermatologist tested and hypoallergenic. It has a natural satin like finish and the coverage varies depending on how much you apply. Since it is like a serum you only need to use a few drops on the face perfecting brush in order to cover your whole face. When you're applying this foundation it instantly goes on smoothly and seamlessly blends into the skin. All of this sounds pretty amazing, right? Well you're wrong but, you're right in theory.

Haircare 101 | Thick Dry Hair

So I have some seriously thick long hair. Fortunately, this means that it can endure quite the beating (repetitive box dying, over processing, heat) without leaving me bald. Yet, recently I've had a change of heart and decided that it would be in my best interest to leave my harmful hair ways behind and start actually taking care of my poor hair and scalp. No more ratty ends or dull lifeless hair for me.

Sephora Pore Refining Serum

Serums are great for giving your skin the extra boost it needs to be truly radiant by targeting specific problem areas. Since I have oily skin I always like to use at least one serum that helps control that issue. The Sephora brand Pore Refining Serum has been my go-to oil combating serum lately because it is specially designed for your t-zone. It's a paraben free serum that refines and mattifies skin and reduces the size of pores. The light-weight gel formula glides on thinly and dries quickly without leaving your skin feeling sticky.
