Friday Favorites | The Perfect Scent Cocktail

I was never really into perfumes. I probably own maybe six or seven perfumes and I rarely ever get much use out of most of them. This was of course until recently when I for some reason became fascinated with finding a new mature signature scent (before this moment the only bottle of perfume I continually finished was Pink Sugar.)
I really thought it was going to be Nirvana White or Burberry Rhythm but, then a co-worker of mine told me about mixing Dolce and Gabbana Light Blue with Atelier Cologne Mandarine Glaciale. I'm not going to lie I was a little skeptical at first because I don't really prefer Atelier Cologne Mandarine Glaciale by itself because I think it is too orange-y ... it kind of reminds me of a room spray...maybe more specifically a bathroom spray because it is so heavy. Yet, magically when the two are put together they are absolutely amazing. The more fruity citrus from the Mandarine Glaciale pairs so perfectly with the more light airy citrus of the Light Blue that they really balance each other out. I think that this is 10000% perfect for the upcoming warmer months because it is so light and refreshing. Typically, when I mix the two I spray probably four little sprits of Light Blue and only one of Mandarine Glaciale since it is a bit heavier. I can't wait to be sitting somewhere warm sipping on mimosas spayed in this amazing perfume cocktail and most likely attracting all the bees and what not.
