Make Up For Ever Pro Sculpting Duo 1 | Review

Although I've been on my contour game since before contouring was a thing it hasn't stopped me from taking full advantage of all of the new contour products that brands have been coming out with lately. Tons of creams and powders in shades of matte brown, matte highlights, and shimmering highlights as far as the eye can see. It's really a glorious sight and apparently from what I've been really noticing it's been a slept on art for the general public. Sure, contouring might not be for everyone but, it really can make a huge difference. You can make it has soft or as sharp as you would like so really I feel like there is a little something in it for everyone when it comes to contouring but that's just my opinion.

[Left to Right: Highlight, Contour, Both Mixed Together]

Either way the new Make Up For Ever Pro Sculpting Duo in shade 1 (shade 2 is also gorgeous for medium to dark skin tones) can and should be appreciated by all because it is down right gorgeous. This gel-powder compact is soft, smooth, and blends effortlessly for a seamless look. The contour color is warm enough to be used solely as a contour shade or it can be used as a bronzer just to warm up the complexion without being too orange or muddy. My favorite part is the highlight shade though because it gives the perfect luminous shimmer without making you look too shiny or greasy even after hours of wear. As a girl with oilier skin I have found that some other highlighters look a bit, dare i say ... sweaty after a few hours but this one stays absolutely flawless; always catching the light and just the right ways allowing for a stunning glow. When you mix the two colors together it also makes a gorgeous golden shimmer shade that would look stunning in the summer for more of a sun kissed glow.

When it comes to contouring and highlighting I feel like this one, since its a powder and only contains two shades is a simple one to master if you're looking to get your feet wet but are intimidated by some of the other products out there. Have no fear and just dive in, trust me, contouring is worth the extra few steps.
