Tea Talk Tuesday | Post #65 My Boring Life vs. My Boyfriend's Not So Boring Life

So the other day I had this brilliant idea that I would do a day in the life post with my boyfriend. I figured that it would be a cool concept since we are long distance right now. I planned to have side by side photos of what we were doing throughout the day not fully realizing exactly how boring my day would look in comparison. Let's be honest though I really should have seen this coming. All I do on my days off is sit in bed watching anime and put on makeup.

Tea talk Tuesday | Post #43

My thoughts have been all over the place recently. Half of the reason is thanks to my rekindled addiction to iced soy green tea lattes and the other half is thanks to all of the excitement I have running through my mind. I’m working on ideas for work which is always cool but even more excitingly I’m working on a secret beauty project with a friend of mine. I don’t want to give away and details yet but I promise you it will be exciting.

I haven’t started a year out this excited in a long time so I’m extra hyped. I have no doubt that this year is going to be amazing. Positive vibes all the way.

This is an even shorter post than usual but I just wanted to take a brief moment to bask in my excitement!

5 Things I've Learned Over the Past Year

Now that my birthday is right around the corner I've been thinking back on the past year and how much things have changed. I can't really complain though I've come a long way in a profession that I love and I'm surrounded by an amazing support system; At the end of the day I can't really ask for more. I've learned a lot of life lessons this year and they have made quite the impact on my life. I can proudly say I've grown a lot this year and no matter how much more I need to go I'm glad I've made it this far.

Tea Talk Tuesday | Post #27

I feel like life has been getting better and better lately. Nothing super huge has happened or anything like that but, things have just been on the up and up. I'd like to thank a huge part of that to changing my attitude towards life. I never thought being a little more gracious and positive would make such a huge impact on the way I live my life. I have only made little changes and it's made a huge impact. This is a big reason as to why I think it's so important to be open minded to new thoughts and ways of living. I'm not saying you should be totally open and willing to join some cult that worships squirrels but, I mean, being open to not being a negative miserable twat all the time might do ya life some good.

Tea Talk Tuesday | Post #25

Last week I vowed to live a more positive life and honestly it's way easier than I imagined that it would be. I can't say it's been a complete 180 turn around but, things have really been looking up. Sure, I still get anxious or flustered from time to time but, hey I'm not asking for miracles overnight here. I do have to note that I have been in a much better mood and things overall have just been on the up and up. I think it's a real understatement to say that the way that you think changes your life.

Tea Talk Tuesday | Post #18

I appreciate a little nostalgia in my life. Honestly there are few better things than being able to look back on the past and talk about memories despite whether they are good or bad. It's crazy to laugh about things that happened years ago like they just happened yesterday even if you're laughing out of sheer embarrassment.

Tea Talk Tuesday | Post #17

On today's lovely walk through the concrete jungle on my way from work a ever so common thought dawned on me once again... Being a girl sucks and it don't mean that in the cliché "because we are expected to wear makeup/ shave our armpits" kind of way. Personally, I like that stuff and if it's not for you then it's not for you that's your prerogative, don't let people make you feel bad for doing you. I also like being a girl but, it comes with it's downfalls obviously. Anyway, I mean it in the whole I" forever have to live on the defensive" kind of way. Not to say guys never get worried about being in shady situations or getting creeped on but I have a strong feeling it happens to the female persuasion just a bit more. I even made a short list of reasons as to why I feel this way since I'm curious as to if anyone can relate to my current feels...
