How I De-Stress
My life has been a bit crazy lately and it's had me a bit more strungout than I would actually like to admit. The culmination of everything just has me a bit frazzled and unable to really concentrate on anything. In order to combat this rut I've been trying to incorporate little soothing things into my life that put me in a more positive mood.

Appreciating Life | The Magic
Maybe a month or so ago I read Rhonda Byrne's The Secret and fell in love with the philosophy of the law of attraction, positivity and gratitude. It's not always an easy lifestyle to maintain when things get rough or don't go the way you planned but, I've been making an effort to make that philosophy a part of my life. It's so easy to take things for granted but, I think it's important to realize how much we have to be thankful for even when it seems like we have so little.

Friday Favorites | Goals
First things first, let's start this post with a cute unrelated photo of my dog...With the year more than half way over looking back life has been getting progressively better. I've been accomplishing some of my goals and I've been getting pretty close to achieving other ones and honestly it's such a good feeling. I never really thought setting small (and big) personal lifestyle goals would make such a big impact on the way that I feel but it really has. Obviously I'm taking this Friday Favorites in a little bit of a different direction since goals really isn't a tangible thing but you know what they say, sometimes the best things in life aren't really things.

Tea Talk Tuesday | Post #27
I feel like life has been getting better and better lately. Nothing super huge has happened or anything like that but, things have just been on the up and up. I'd like to thank a huge part of that to changing my attitude towards life. I never thought being a little more gracious and positive would make such a huge impact on the way I live my life. I have only made little changes and it's made a huge impact. This is a big reason as to why I think it's so important to be open minded to new thoughts and ways of living. I'm not saying you should be totally open and willing to join some cult that worships squirrels but, I mean, being open to not being a negative miserable twat all the time might do ya life some good.

Love What You Wear & Wear What You Love!
As someone who is about two extended shopping trips from being sent to Shoppers Anonymous, I believe that your clothes are a part of what makes you who you are... the clothes might not make the person but, it sure as hell is a big part. Your clothes help show the world a part of your personality. So why not make yourself feel like the gods opened the skies and plopped you down here on Earth so that the world could be graced with your fabulous sassy self? When you look good, you feel good, and the last time I checked no one enjoyed feeling self conscious about themselves so why not slide yourself into something you love and enjoy every minute of it! So here are my top 3 tricks and tips for loving what you wear and wearing what you love:

7 Ways to Keep a Smile
I am always looking for the positive side of life and the positive things about myself to get me through the hard times where the only thing I want to do is knock myself into a coma with the first blunt object I see. I've learned that you can't be hard on yourself just because things in your life aren't moving along as quickly as you think you should or because life isn't going the way you thought it would. The more positive you are about life the more you will enjoy it and the better it will become. So here are my favorite ways to live life, stay positive and be confident:
