My Everyday Complexion Routine

I feel like the title of this post may be a bit misleading because sure this is my everyday complexion routine but, it's probably a bit more than most people's typical everyday makeup style. When I do my makeup I go all in for a full face because that's my preference. I do it for work and when I'm going out somewhere and usually this happens way more often than a no-makeup-makeup day. Everyone's life calls for a different type of makeup routine and this one just so happens to be mine.

Friday Favorites | Spring Favorites

Spring is here and although it doesn't quite feel like it yet it's technically the season to dust off those fresh light colors and curb your senses to those brighter more fresh looking products. Time to trade in your heavy creams for lighter ones and all of your musks to lighter airier scents and all that jazz. I might not be into pastels but, this is the time of the year that my dusty rose and mauve babies get a lot of playing time. It fulfills my love of nudes but adds just a touch of warmth that goes along perfectly with the season.

Top 10 Drugstore Favorites

When it comes to makeup I don't think the brand always matters. Sure there are high-end products I prefer over drugstore ones but the same goes for the other way around. There are tons of drugstore products that I absolutely adore because not only are they reasonably priced but they also work just as well if not better than any luxury brand out there. It is always important to realize that it isn't about the name of the product its about the quality. Just because a foundation says its lux doesn't mean it looks very lux if its oxidizing on your face making you look like a confused orange. Finding drugstore products that you love is also a great way to save some money for the high-end products in your life that you can't live without.

I've comprised a little list of a few of my favorite drugstore products that I can't get enough of and find myself coming back to time and time again.

Milani Bella Eyes Gel Powder Eyeshadow Review | Bella Champagne, Bella Caffe, Bella Cappuccino, and Bella Taupe

From left to right: Bella Taupe, Bella Cappuccino, Bella Caffe, and Bella Champagne

Recently Milani came out with the Bella Eyes Gel Powder Eyeshadow line which consists of 30 new permanent collection shades with three finishes: satin matte, shimmer, and iridescent metallic. These shades have a unique soft buttery formula that is crease resistant and can be used either wet or dry. When used dry the pigmentation is a little lighter and has a softer look without looking powdery. Then when they are used with a wet brush the colors are richer and brings out any shimmer within the shadow. Overall the lasting power of these shadows seems pretty decent lasting for about 6 to 8 hours.

The School Day Face

Hello, Loves! During the week when I have class I never have a lot of time to get ready. This is mostly because I use half of my time to check all my social medias and to give myself a pep talk out of bed. I see no point in doing my makeup to the hilt for class because by the end of the day I'm a greasy mess anyway. I'm not sure why considering the fact that I can work a whole shift and come out just as crisp as when I went in... life is strange. Either way I try to get ready in about 15-ish minutes on the days when I have class. I pop just enough makeup on to look decent and functioning.

January Favorites

Hello, Loves! I've fallin in love with so many products this month. Some of them were super new to me and others were rekindled loves from my past makeup flings. I can't stand the month of January... it's cold, depressing, and nothing good ever really happens for me during the month but, the beauty product gods have graced me with a silver lining to this cloudy month.
